WORK EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITIES LAUNCH FOR HIGH ROAD WEST
This is part of our commitment to making sure local people benefit from the regeneration of High Road West. We will work closely local schools and local organisations on issues that matter to Tottenham. All of our suppliers are asked to commit to providing work experience, apprenticeships and volunteering hours for the local area as part of their appointment to work on the project and the first opportunities are due to be delivered early this summer.
With our combined expertise in disciplines as diverse as construction, architecture, planning and engineering, we will offer opportunities to young people in Tottenham to gain insight into career paths available to them after education. This is just one of many ways we are supporting social benefits that go beyond the physical change in the area.
Lendlease is also launching its Work Experience programme in June and July this year. We will be providing 20 places for students either at our offices in Regent’s Place in Central London as well as with members of our supply chain in various locations.
