THE GREAT GRANGE GARDEN TIDY UP
The newly cleared space will open to the wider community later in the year and eventually Lendlease hope to hold a variety of community events in the garden.
Ewan Oliver, public realm development manager at Lendlease, said: “We completed a number of jobs including the removal of soil and weeds from the paved areas, the formative pruning of shrubs to give them shape and the pulling of self-seeded sycamore saplings, brambles and other weeds to take the garden back to its bones.
“The next stage will be to plan out raised beds, seating, a small natural play area and a new planting scheme, including espalier fruit trees, to provide a flexible and welcoming outdoor space for stakeholders to use for a range of uses.”
We look forward to welcoming everyone in September!
